Wedding Time!
This weekend was one of the most fun I've had in a while, and now I'm so tired! I won’t complain too much, I think I desperately needed this weekend. I feel like ever since fall break I’ve been go, go, go with no rest. Schoolwork has picked up big time and we are getting to championship season with cross country, meaning it's extra serious now!
One of my dear friends got married this Friday and I had the privilege to stand next to her as a bridesmaid. There may have been a few tears shed by me, but what can I say? I’m a sucker for rom-coms, weddings and anything mushy. With it being a Friday wedding, there were a few things I had to rearrange for practice and class. Two of my friends from cross country were also in the wedding so we all had to wake up early Thursday morning and get a workout in. Typically, I don’t enjoy getting up at 5 a.m. for anything but working out with friends made it better!
Then after our day of classes, we headed up to the rehearsal. We had the opportunity to see the venue all set up for the wedding and it was gorgeous! Fall weddings are always pretty. After we practiced the ceremony, we headed to a local restaurant for dinner. I had one of the most delicious meals of my life, no exaggeration. For the first course, I had bread and Caesar salad. My entree for the second course was drunken shrimp pasta. Then, the final course was dessert. I had a peanut butter bomb and it was amazing!

The remainder of my weekend was spent exploring Cuyahoga Valley National Park, trying local pizza places and going to my first NFL game. The park was filled with colorful, autumn trees and families with dogs. I enjoyed every bit of it! The NFL game was fun and we got chipotle afterwards. Overall, it was a great weekend and I am ecstatic for Lexi and Breydan! Can’t wait to see what the future holds for them.
That’s all for now,
Abby
